Hypothetical Display Exercise

This project was one of my many attempts of blending technical skills with my courses, art history to be exact. Although designing a hypothetical art exhibition using Archicad 21 and Cinerender is cool, I question if the depth of content was the right choice for such a course.

As apart of a University project in Art History, I was tasked with designing a plan for hypothetical exhibition. We choose artworks from our lectures to display together and were tasked with creating a floor plan like the one below. Unable to stop myself from turning this into a graphic design project, I decided to create a photo render of the exhibition in Archicad 21 using the Cinerender rendering engine. The renders bellow are rather minimal desigins and basic lighting within the gallery. However given more time for the project I would have worked on further modelling, texturing and lighting work.
