Over the past couple months I’ve been working closely with Spicecraft to overhaul and completely redesign their website. Not only building a new website, but creating new images for their products, managing SEO, transferring their site data from Squarespace to their new site which is based with Shopify.
At the same time as working on building and managing the website, Spicecraft also wanted new labels for their rub range, as they were deciding to move on to larger jars for the packaging of their rubs, but wanted these redesign to cater more to the BBQ market, as well as having bright coloured packaging, a coming trend in food products.
This was a large undertaking and I learnt a lot in this journey. This is not the first website I have created, but certainly one of the first to bring in proper revenue and with a significant amount of complexity being an ecommerce site. Various jobs in doing this included a long list and more of the following:
- Creating the new website.
- Creating new mockup images and photographs of every product, new product and variants.
- Creating a new recipe blog and adding all the previous recipes manually.
- Creating forms and managing email marketing apps such as omni forms to create email campaigns for various areas of interest on the site.
- Managing google analytics and sitewide SEO.
- Creating and managing backend code integrations.
- Integrating Facebook and Instagram marketing.
- Creating all the small things that go into building a website from social sharing images, favicons, logos, banner videos and photos.
- Managing and adding product information.
- Creating various information pdfs on the site for fundraising, franchising, corporate gifts, etc.
I have been tasked with so many tasks the last few months it’s hard to go into detail on every project. So I will share with you some images of the recent project’s I’ve done with them.
